Parish Council Meeting dates

Parish Council meetings will be held in the Victory Hall, Tower Hill, Stogursey and may be recorded by the Parish Clerk.

Public Participation at Parish Council Meetings

12 May 2026 to be proceeded by the Annual Meeting

9 June 2026 

14 July 2026

There will not be a Parish Council Meeting in August 2026

8 September 2026

13 October 2026

10 November 2026

8 December 2026

12 January 2027

9 February 2027

9 March 2027

13 April 2027 (to include the Annual Assembly at 7pm)

Meetings commence with presentations and the Public Forum at 7.00pm followed by the Parish Council meeting  unless otherwise notified (normally to accommodate presentations by external bodies).

OPENNESS OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT BODIES REGULATIONS 2014

On 6 August 2014, the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 was amended by the Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014. The amended 1960 Act provides that a person may not orally report or comment about a meeting as it takes place if he is present at the meeting of the parish council or its committees but otherwise may:

1. Film, photograph or make an audio of a meeting;
2. Use any other means for enabling persons not present to see or hear proceedings at a meeting as it takes place or later;
