Parish Council Meetings

Due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) the Parish Council meetings (including the Annual Assembly scheduled for Wed 8 April 2020) was CANCELLED.

Parish Council meetings will continue to take place between councillors by electronic means, currently on the Zoom platform. Members of the public are welcome to attend.  Contact the parish clerk for further details.

13th April 2021 (to include Annual Assembly at 7p.m.)

Meetings commence with the Public Forum at 7.15pm, followed by the Parish Council meeting at 7.30pm unless otherwise notified (normally to accommodate presentations by external bodies etc).

The meetings were usually held at the Youth Club on every second Wednesday (unless notified) while the Victory Hall is demolished and rebuilt.


On 6 August 2014, the Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 was amended by the Openness of Local Government Bodies Regulations 2014. The amended 1960 Act provides that a person may not orally report or comment about a meeting as it takes place if he is present at the meeting of the parish council or its committees but otherwise may:

  1. Film, photograph or make an audio of a meeting;
  2. Use any other means for enabling persons not present to see or hear proceedings at a meeting as it takes place or later;
