OPEN TO ALL RESIDENTS – DROP IN FOR PART OR ALL OF DAY
On Wednesday 16 October WWT and the Environment Agency will be hosting a community event enabling supporters and members of the public to learn about Natural Flood Management and find out more about this innovative, sustainable and efficient project.
The event will take part in two sessions, running from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm at the Williton Pavilion, Robert Street, Williton, TA4 4PG.
The 10.30am until 3pm session will provide the opportunity to hear-from and speak-with leading natural flood management experts including:
- Environment Agency
- Wessex Water
- Natural England
- National Trust
- Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group South West
- National Farmers Union
- Local MPs, Country, District and Parish Councillors.
The 3pm to 7pm sessions will include drop in sessions throughout the afternoon including interactive workshops and group discussions, rounding off with a new short film we are looking forward to sharing with you! A local larder lunch and afternoon tea will be provided, celebrating the wonderful produce from our communities.
